In my paintings I work with a combination of thin transparent glazes, and thicker vibrant paint strokes, creating rich, luminous color. The subjects that interest me are broad in scope, from landscape to still life, to animals and botanicals. By exploring the saturation of light, and pushing beyond literal interpretations, I hope to offer each viewer an experience beyond the minds eye.
